About Z-Image Turbo API

Yes. There is no image upload path in the configuration, so workflows stay prompt based. Move to Qwen Image or another edit-capable model when you need references.

prompt_extend forwards your prompt through Alibaba's rewriter. The playground notes that enabling it doubles the billed cost for that call, so use it selectively.

Select one of the seven presets when creating the payload. The model will not infer a custom crop beyond those ratios.
